Zee

Zee, a mixed media and digital artist, was born in Budapest, Hungary in 1979. What sets her apart is the fact that she is completely self-taught, which has allowed her to break away from established commercial art norms and embrace her own unique style.

After the birth of her first child, Zee channelled her creative side more productively and began creating unique illustrations and larger-scale artworks. Over time, she developed her skills and experimented with various mediums, including acrylic paints, inks, and various embellishment techniques.

While acrylics and watercolours were her initial favourites for expressing her artistic vision, Zee's love for technology and computing capabilities led her to explore a more existential approach to her art. She now combines traditional media with digital technology, using fast computing and processing to create vibrant and edgy pop art.

Zee's style can be described as mixed media with a digital twist. She employs a freestyle approach to using different techniques, orchestrating visual components to produce captivating and expressive artworks. By scanning her painted and drawn media into pixels, she skillfully manipulates and integrates the imagery with digital painting.
