Aziz Sulaymanov – Contemporary Still Life Artist
Now available at Bloom Fine Art in Towcester, Aziz Sulaymanov is one of Kyrgyzstan’s leading contemporary artists, recognised for his refined still life oil paintings and classical technique.
Born in 1986 in the Osh region of the Kyrgyz Republic, Aziz Sulaymanov developed a passion for drawing from an early age. His talent led him to formal training at a specialist art academy before continuing his artistic development in Saint Petersburg, Russia. There, he studied under established artists including Nikolay Evdokimov and Tuman Jumanaev, refining both his technical skill and artistic direction.
During his time in Russia, Aziz became a member of the Russian Artists Union, where he further developed his distinctive style. His work is grounded in traditional methods, with a strong emphasis on composition, light, and precision.
Aziz is best known for his contemporary still life paintings. His work captures everyday objects with clarity and balance, using controlled lighting and subtle tonal shifts to create depth and realism. Each composition is carefully arranged, giving his paintings a calm and considered presence.
His work has been exhibited internationally, with private shows across Russia, China, Turkey, and Kyrgyzstan. Today, his paintings are collected worldwide and are featured in both private homes and curated collections.
Now based in Bishkek, Aziz continues to create from his studio, producing original oil paintings that reflect both discipline and artistic sensitivity.
