Robbing Banksy

With Robbing Banksy, The Connor Brothers turn their attention to the art world itself, assembling a line-up of cultural references that feel both familiar and subversive. Presented as a series of vintage-style book spines, the work blends clean typography with a cooler, more restrained palette. This silkscreen paper edition (image size 27x40”, framed size 31x44”) is released in an edition of 75. Part of the Colour**l Language collection, it works equally as a refined visual composition and a wry commentary on influence, authorship and artistic identity. Harmonious in colour, it makes a striking statement on the wall, and reflects the current vogue for ‘book-wealthy’ interiors.
